Naturally Meramec Consortium “Speed-Date” Event

Event Date: August 30, 2021

Event Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Heartland Farms Bourbon, Missouri, Crawford

You are invited…

Wanting to find more sources for locally grown produce for your restaurants? Wanting to find more places to see your products? The Naturally Meramec Consortium (NMC) can help you do that at its next NMC “Speed-Date” Event where buyers and sellers can meet, talk, and connect on locally produced products/services.

As a producer and/or potential buyer of agriculture, tourism and/or culinary goods and services, you are cordially invited to attend this “Speed-Date” event on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. At this event, buyers and sellers will gather to discuss potential partnerships.

Producers/Sellers: You will have an opportunity to display your products, flyers, or brochures and to tell several potential buyers all about your business and discuss contracts. Your opportunity to talk with a buyer will be a “speed-date” presentation with them, one-on-one. If there is promise in that first meeting, you will have an opportunity to talk with them in more detail later in the evening. This event is intended for commercial buyers, not individual consumers, so producers should be those interested in picking up accounts for large volumes.

Buyers: You will have the opportunity to meet with several businesses in one evening at a single setting, thus increasing your chances of gaining new local products and services to pass on to your customers. This event is intended for commercial buyers, not individual consumers.

The Naturally Meramec Consortium in the Meramec Region is rich in businesses that offer quality locally produced products and services. This event will allow buyers to see the face behind the product and not simply read marketing material.

If you are interested in participating in this event, please complete either a seller or buyer form attached and return it to me via email or mail to the address below by Monday, August 23, 2021. Some of you will be both a buyer and a seller. An example of this may be a winery that sells product to others, but also buys local cheese, etc. If that is the case, you may fill out both forms, but will need to have more than one person at the event to represent both functions.

Heartland Farms is a 3,500 square feet facility with room to spread out. Space is limited to insure social distancing. Heartland Farms can safely accommodate 75 people. Speed Date tables will be place at least 6-feet apart to allow social distancing.

All guests will enter the venue using the main entrance of Heartland Farms. Hand sanitizer will be available at sign in and will be provided throughout the event.

Guests will be provided a pen to keep when signing in.

Mask will be available.
