The Steelville Arts Council is made up of business people, artists, and volunteers who enjoy being able to promote art in their community. They could not do what they do without their awesome volunteers.
The Steelville Arts Council volunteers run three different facilities in Steelville, Missouri. Gallery Zeke on Main Street has different exhibits monthly and offers a place for artist’s to sell their paintings, pottery, and other wares. They have a free Art in the Park each year. They also have a Plein Aire event that brings artists from many states to their community. The Meramec Music Theatre has 585 seats and brings in top Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Country, Bluegrass, and other music artists. The Steelville R-3 School also holds plays and concerts at the theatre.
